Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026

Welcome to Invoicely. By using our invoice generator, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Invoicely (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Invoicely is a free, browser-based invoice generator. You can create, edit, save (locally), export and print invoices. The Service is provided "as is" without requiring registration.

3. Your Account & Data

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of invoice content you create.
  • Your data is stored locally in your browser. We are not responsible for data loss from clearing browser storage, browser updates, or device changes.
  • You are responsible for backing up your invoices (e.g., exporting to PDF).
  • You must comply with all applicable tax and business regulations for invoices you issue.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to create fraudulent invoices
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or hack the Service
  • Use automated tools to overload or disrupt the Service
  • Impersonate another business or person without authorization

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, its design, code, templates and branding are the property of Invoicely and protected by intellectual property laws. The invoice content you create belongs to you. Templates may be customized for your use but not resold as standalone products.

6. Paid Plans

While the core Service is free, certain premium features ("Paid Plans") require a subscription. Paid Plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis. You can cancel anytime. Fees are non-refundable except as stated in our 30-day money-back guarantee.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Invoicely shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including loss of data, profits, or business, arising from your use of the Service.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Invoicely harmless from claims arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at our discretion if you violate these Terms. Since your data is stored locally, termination does not delete invoices already exported to your device.

11. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms periodically. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
